7. Unique development opportunity in a nature park

State owned landowner, Metsähallitus has made a masterplan for the future development of Ruunaa Nature Park.

The Ruunaa area is a nature park with only limited existing development, the opportunity will create 140 000 square metres of building density, once the land use planning process is completed.

The area has a strong activity offering however the accommodation capacity doesn't meet the current levels of demand. Trends indicate that demand will increase for such development opportunities in this location.

The future land use planning will also include a reservation for hotel construction in Neitikoski area.
