This is a land owned by the Lieksa, at it offers a great opportunity to develop the tourism services of the area. The services of the village of Koli are right next door, for example a restaurant, tourist information, places to visit, mini golf, a fuel distribution point and a grocery store. Access to the national park is practically across the road. Less than 1 km to the port of Koli and about 3 km to Ukko-Koli.

It would be possible to plan various entities for tourism along Kolintie. A restaurant, accommodation and program services are needed in the area.
