The Lieksa New Growth Project (PÄRM) aims to strengthen the local economy and create new jobs. The goal is to address the challenges of local sudden structural changes, enhance the region's attractiveness, and adapt to economic changes resulting from global market uncertainties and Russia's war of aggression in Ukraine.

The project focuses on developing the bioeconomy and tourism, as well as enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors.

The project is active from April 1, 2024, to May 31, 2025, with a total budget of €187,500.
